WHEN IS EDMONTON PRO PRODEO?
Edmonton Pro Rodeo runs from September 29 – 30, 2023
WHERE IS THE RODEO?
EPR is located within the Flair Airlines Hangar (Hall D) at the Edmonton EXPO Centre & Exhibition Grounds: 7515 – 118 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5B 4X5
WHAT AM I ALLOWED TO BRING?
To prepare for a full day of Rodeo fun, make sure to pack essentials like cowboy boots, a sense of adventure, and a big appetite! For a list of prohibited items, see the prohibited items within the Safety & Security section above.
WHAT’S YOUR BAG POLICY?
Bags larger than 12’’ x 12’’ x 6’’ are not permitted into the concert or sporting hall. Special considerations will be made for guests with medical needs and parents caring for infants. Please note that all bags, including purses, are subject to inspection.
I’M A CONTESTANT, WHERE CAN I PARK MY TRAILER?
Parking for contestants, including trailer parking, is available complimentary within Lot E of the Coliseum. Once at Lot E, parking staff direct contestants to the horse path, behind the Coliseum, though Lot F and down the pedway to Hall D
I’M A CONTESTANT, WHERE DO I CHECK IN?
Contestants are required to check in at the Rodeo Secretary Office – located in Hall D (Stingers (small left) dressing room). Contestant check-in will occur between 3:00 and 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM each night, and 7 am – 9:00 am on Saturday morning for the slack.
WHERE IS THE LOST & FOUND?
All recovered lost items will be stored at the Lost and Found located in the Edmonton EXPO Centre Information Desk/Box Office located outside of Hall C.
IS THERE AN INTERMISSION?
No, there is no intermission. The EPR will run each night from 7:00 PM – approximately 9:30 PM each night, but has a few spots where guests can take a break for rodeo action.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?
Payment for parking is by debit or credit card payment only. Within the Edmonton EXPO centre, cash and credit will be accepted at all concessions. ATMs are also available throughout the event spaces.
WHAT TIME CAN I ENTER THE CABARET SPACE?
The Cabaret space will be open each night starting at 9:30 PM and will have food and beverage available to purchase. Entry is free and is open to all ages. The Cabaret will close at 1:00AM each night.
CAN CHILDREN ATTEND THE CABARET?
Yes, the Cabaret is free to attend and open to all ages.
IS SMOKING PERMITTED?
To provide a safe and healthy environment for all guests, and to comply with all areas licensed under the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Cannabis Act, smoking is limited to specifically designated fenced outdoor areas and is not allowed in any indoor facilities or food establishments.
IS CANNABIS CONSUMPTION PERMITTED?
EPR is an all-ages family event, cannabis consumption is not permitted on the grounds. Possession is permitted, but no consumption. This is in compliance with all Municipal and Provincial regulations governing the consumption of cannabis in public and or areas licensed under the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act.
ARE WHEELCHAIRS/SCOOTERS/WAGONS AVAILABLE TO RENT?
We do not offer rentals onsite.
IS EPR WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes. The site is paved and includes ramps and elevators to provide maximum possible accessibility.
CAN I BUY TICKETS ONSITE?
Yes, tickets are available for purchase at the Box Office baaed on availability, which is in the Edmonton EXPO Centre, across from Hall D. The Box Office will be open each night from 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM.
I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND, CAN I GET A REFUND?
We do not offer refunds, weather related or otherwise as the event proceeds rain or shine. However, if you mistakenly purchase the wrong ticket and are wanting to upgrade your ticket please reach out to email@example.com.
DOES MY CHILD NEED A TICKET?
Children aged 2 and under are free to attend. Children 3+ require a ticket.
CAN I PURCHASE A DAY SHEET?
Yes, day sheets will be available to purchase onsite between 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM each night and are $2.00 per sheet.
ARE YOU ACCEPTING VENDOR APPLICATIONS?
Currently, EPR does not have a tradeshow component; therefore, we are not taking vendor applications. If interested, Farmfair International, occurring November 8 – 11, 2023, is accepting vendor applications. For more information on the event, please visit farmfairinternational.com.
DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND THE SLACK PERFORMANCE?
No, the slack performance is complimentary to attend and will take place on Saturday, September 29th from 10:00 AM till approximately 2:00 PM.
AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOS?
Yes, photos are permitted when taken on a compact camera or camera phones. Any camera which has a removable lens, or any other large cameras that will obstruct viewpoints for other guests, is not permitted.
